How To Obtain The Kingdom of GOD Through Jesus

July 2, 2008 / by unlimited

I have a friend on the east side of Dayton, Ohio who is a believer in Jesus. His neighbors are at peace with him.

Philippians 1:15-18

15Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

16The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

17But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

18What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.1

Their idol is as if no sincerity towards the lost is expressed, but only self desires the return of Jesus. Do we have to be reminded by the angels again?

Acts 1:10-11

10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.2

There is no intention to repay evil for evil but the above statements desire restoration for that believer not experiencing the fullness of their holiness walk.

Romans 12:17/passage/?book_id=52&chapter=12&verse=17&version=9&context=verseRecompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Well, you might be asking "Hey what about Colossians 3:2-4?"

Colossians 3:2-4

2Set your affection on things above

, not on things on the earth.

3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.3

This is an excellent, challenging question. It seems that the angels in Acts 1:10-11 are contradicting Apostle Paul’s letters to the Colossians. However, this is a mistake assuming such. What Acts 1:10-11 and Colossians 3:2-4 are stating is for we believers bring in Heaven down to Earth! Let us look at a scripture and a statement when in context both are true, but definitely do not convey the same idea or do they. Ready? I advise you to pray before you read on and ask God to be Lord in Jesus name. Alright? See you are going through an exercise of applying The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness [Jesus] in your Jesus, discipleship walk.

2 Corinthians 6:17
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.4

Matthew 7:6

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.5

Matthew 15:26-28

26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Many believers allegedly are warning people not to cast the gospel to people who they did not ask God a salvation outreach opportunity in Jesus’ name. Yes, this is a great idea, but Matthew 7:6 was a scene or situation whereby Jesus was under Jewish law expressing the law relationship between Jews under GOD’s Covenant and Gentiles without the Covenant of GOD before the crucifixion. However, as the Gentile woman expressed if faith exists one is a part of God’s covenant and Jesus recognized this woman’s sincere true desire for GOD with her perseverance, appeals. However, I tell you that if Jesus is not made Lord every day and this is not for salvation, you will or may miss some opportunities which God used with someone else. Build up the treasure opportunities by GOD for GOD. It makes one unnecessarily ignorant when they do not have to be. Asking GOD to be Lord every day is like the following scripture.

Matthew 8:8-10

8The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.6

You see once going to God and asking Him to be Lord every day activates that faith that adds all other things on to you when you go about doing whatsoever. Don not be surprised but, every day will be a surprise party of maturity in Christ Jesus. "Isn’t that nice?" This is living or applying The Kingdom of GOD [and Heaven] and His Righteousness while alive as a mortal human. Believe me when you are in the state of asking God Lord of on a particular day try to do something. If GOD does not want you to do it, The Father will in the name of Jesus by Holy Spirit let you know!

Hebrews 12:6

6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.7

You have witness in this chapter a general sense of how to live the Kingdom of GOD and His Righteousness by asking GOD Lord every day through reading excerpts from and The Word of GOD. Now asking Jesus to be Lord every day ask the Lord for a healthy balance between reading the Bible, Prayer, Fellowship, and Witnessing. Most of the time all four overlap each other. So which of these four elements shall we discuss first? We have covered two areas concerning reading or hearing God’s WORD and somewhat prayer overlapping into Section 2 called "Prayers of Jesus Through Believers

." Rest assured that you will witness from time to time this book overlapping all four elements reading the Bible, Prayer, Fellowship, and Witnessing. Therefore it is imperative praying GOD Lord every day. This creates a healthy balanced holy walk witness.

Romans 10:17

17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

In order to pray, you have to know how. Either some one has to tell you about the faith and or read about faith. It is my hope that the previous chapters have established at least a prayer foundation. Therefore for continued maturity, prayer must always be never taken for granted or forgotten. The more specific, mature, lifestyle the other elements of reading GOD’s Word, The Bible; fellowship; and witnessing to those who need Jesus the more specific and sophisticated our pray life will be during the day, but never abandoning the prayer asking GOD Lord over our lives. In turn, the other elements such as fellowship, reading The Bible, and witnessing are more meaningful and deeper in the environment a believer is placed. It is a never ending, mature holy walk journey until GOD returns. These scriptures along with all the Bible develop from basic milk that a baby intakes to solid food.

Philippians 4:6-7

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The following scriptures as you shall observe puts fellowship usually before witnessing because most of the time they are dependent or by the time a church is established dependent on each other.

John 13:34-35

34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another [fellowship].

35By this shall all men know [witnessing to the lost] that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another

That is why it is so important not to forsake the fellowship of believers in church and love especially the bretheren as the bretheren did in Acts 2:46-47.

Hebrews 10:24-25

24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Galations 6:10

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Acts 2:46-47

46And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved [witnessing as the result of fellowship].

What about the following phrase. Does it conflict with 2 Corinthians 6:17?

"Be separate but dwell among them."

On the surface you would think so. Perhaps the following question should be asked. When should we be separate from others who do not believe in Jesus and when not should we not be separate? Jesus dwelled among sinners. He even dined with a tax collector! How dare He? We are to love our enemies and are not some our neighbors? Let us add "fuel to the fire" with scripture.

This author’s goal is being honest with GOD and before all. In other words "So help me GOD." I think we make politicians and other people and even the Bible without the Holy Spirit for guidance idols thereby committing adultery. Would you like a demonstration from the Bible without the Holy Spirit?

"Why has this guy not shared his testimony of Jesus yet with these neighbors?" I thought to myself.

Then it dawned on me the following question.

"On whose terms? Your friends or God’s?"

A good question!

Many people go out and share the gospel with the only goal in mind is so Jesus will come sooner. That’s nice, but with a statement alone like that exclusively does that not express insincerity in concern for people GOD has put in a believer’s life so they might receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and receive forgiveness of sins? What will be the response concerning the gospel? The gospel will still come out but it is too bad the motive is not by love who is GOD. In other words the gospel will go forth and love of Jesus can still get through, but the person sharing the gospel is not making GOD the authority when sharing the gospel of Jesus.
