Effective Witnessing

I pray that you the reader do not turn out to be those witnessing Jesus just to speed up the coming of Jesus’ return because if you are, Jesus is not made Lord by you daily. You miss a lot of fellowship wants to share through you. Please do not misunderstand. I cannot wait for Jesus to return and take his stand permanently with only believers. However, my motive to reaching the lost at a cost is a real genuine concern for reaching my lost neighbor what ever the cost. This is the believer who is sold completely in obedience to Christ Jesus.

What is effective witnessing? When is it appropriate? If we ask Jesus to be Lord for the day and ask JESUS for opportunity to witness Him to others and then just share with anyone, is effective witnessing violated? No, because in the process GOD will bring forth those He wants you to reach. You and the person at first may think it is a random pick for salvation, but GOD has His accurate targets in outreach. Does this means GOD does not wish all to be saved ? No. It is just for each believer different people who need Jesus are reached

Some believers wait for GOD to send them people to witness Jesus. This is appropriate too. Sometimes missionaries are in such predicaments. Sometimes not. I refuse to dictate to GOD what can and cannot do. So there!

I wish these two camps understand that GOD can use both for His glory. They just keep backstabbing each other thinking their way is supreme and the other is not GOD’s will. They state that they do not backstab the other. Perhaps some do not. I hope so. I hav e faith there are such people.

Lately, there are these know it all leaders who say GOD did not assign some Christians for witnessing. They make these silly claim that all are not called. Maybe you do not have a specific labeled office in the church in title, but you still have a specific office or role in the church. Ask Jesus to be Lord daily and you will see what I am talking about. Just make Jesus Lord in your witnessing and ignore such individuals. In other words, stay away from them if you can and pray that they will change. I feel that this is a power struggle for them. It is the only power they have. That is too bad. Leave these ignorant people immediately if they do not change their ways.

Please do not misunderstand me, those who have labeled titles such as deacons, pastors, and elders for example do and deserve our respect because they care we give an accurate account of the hope of Jesus in us for our sakes.
