Last week, filming for the final scenes of the My Hope Brazil program began at 4:00 a.m., when the TV crew rose to beat traffic in the country’s capital of Sao Paulo, one of the most populous cities in the world. My Hope programs will air on primetime TV throughout Brazil, a South American country of more than 185 million people, in November 2008.
Since 2002, My Hope has transmitted evangelistic TV programs throughout more than 40 countries with the participation of hundreds of thousands of churches. As a result, more than 9 million people worldwide have chosen to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. ...

Answering the Call to Minister Hope
Even with soaring gas prices — they came. Men and women with a compelling desire to bring hope to people in the midst of crisis are gathered at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, N.C., for the four-day Billy Graham Rapid Response Team Chaplain Training Conference (June 23-26).
They came to better understand the pressing needs of hard-hit communities and to be part of the solution. “God prepares His Church to respond to the times,” says Jack Munday, leader of BGEA’s RRT. “There is a sense here that people are responding to the call to bring healing to other people in the name of Christ.” ...
